Erin Gaul

An Interview with Equine Detailing LLC’s Erin Gaul

When it comes to horse care and grooming, Erin Gaul of Equine Detailing LLC knows the ins and outs of the industry. With a lifetime of experience working with horses, Erin has taken her passion and turned it into a successful business. We had the opportunity to sit down with Erin and ask her a few questions about her journey, her goals, and what inspires her.

Q1: Tell me about yourself.

Erin: “Hello! My name is Erin Gaul, and I am the owner of Equine Detailing LLC. I have spent all of my life working with horses in a variety of different roles and will continue to do so until I no longer can. Aside from being passionate about horses, I am a wife and a mother of 2. When I am not working, I can be found riding, training with my dogs, or attending my son’s sports games.”

Q2: When and why did you start your business?

Erin: “I began Equine Detailing LLC in 2015. I had started to realize that I wanted to do something different from the barn management jobs I had been doing for the previous 8 or so years but I still wanted to stay in the industry. I had previously worked for someone who body clipped her horses constantly so I had gotten really efficient at it and could turn out an excellent clip consistently. I did a bunch of clipping already as a side gig so I figured I’d jump in with both feet and give it a shot. I really wanted some independence and the ability to do something of my own.”

Q3: What are your business goals?

Erin: “Equine Detailing LLC continues to grow in leaps and bounds so my goal is to see how far the business can go without compromising any quality. I currently have an awesome crew of grooms that work with me, and I hope to continue expanding.”

Q4: What made you choose to start a business in this industry?

Erin: “I have always worked with horses. I’m not sure I would know what other industry to work in!”

Q5: What is your greatest achievement?

Erin: “Equine Detailing LLC is my greatest achievement. I am very proud of the business’s reputation and all of our dedication to providing the best quality service to horse and owner.”

Q6: Who inspires you (alive or not) and why?

Erin: “Grooms inspire me. When I see someone who is 100% dedicated to their job and the horses, they serve it makes me want to work harder and learn more. I love watching a good groom work!”

Q7: How do you personally define business success? Is it money? Freedom? Influence? Creative expression and innovation? Or something else?

Erin: “I define success by watching closely to numbers and listening to what people are saying about us. Equine Detailing LLC continues to do more and more business each year and we continue to have a stellar reputation.”

With a passion for horses and a dedication to providing the best quality service, Erin Gaul and Equine Detailing LLC continue to make waves in the industry. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
